Free tutorial from Rhythmstix on creating and using BBC Sound effects in BandLab.

This great site from the BBC enables you to legally source all of your sound effects for use in school projects and performances. The built-in mixer allows you to mix and manipulate sounds using various inbuilt tools to alter the volume of tracks, loop and cut and delay your chosen sounds.

Rhythmstix has been using this flexible tool in schools to source original loops for BandLab and other DAWS.

In this demonstration, Rob takes you through the process of creating some spooky Halloween sound effects.
